Allegro is a new outreach ministry of Loma Linda University Church. We have partnered with the Music & Worship department to take music lessons to young people in juvenile detention centers. Our goal is to combat problems our community is facing such as incarceration and the impacts of trauma by building safe and accessible music programs throughout our neighborhoods. Students can learn to sing, play an instrument, read music, and express their emotions through music. We are looking for musician volunteers who can teach, and we are also receiving donations to purchase music instruments and resources for students.
